“At Hindi Magba-Bug Toh!” songwriter and RF player Chronycle speaks out!

We interviewed the maker of “At Hindi Magba-Bug Toh!” himself, Chronycle. Hear what he has to say about the song, RF, and gaming life in general.

Level Up! (LU): What inspired you to make this video?

Chronycle: This is a bit obvious, haha. The intention was really to tell those cheaters to stop destroying the game’s integrity. Hindi sila nakakatulong sa online community, they are really destroying it. All I can say is, whatever cheap efforts they’re trying to do right now will be wasted eventually. Hindi lang sa totoong buhay may karma, pati sa online game meron hahahahaha!

LU: What other videos/songs are you working on currently?

Chronycle: I’m currently working on my next video, “RF All-star Video (Altrax Server)” – beta days up to F2P era. Medyo nahihirapan lang ako kasi I need to do some more research on those players who have made names for themselves during their era, pati yung hanggang ngayon. They don’t need to be strong players, but players who became popular because of the good example na na-set nila sa other players. Mahirap tapusin, kaya until now I’m still editing and re-editing it. Good luck na lang sa akin.

LU: What other LU! game/s are you playing besides RF?

Chronycle: Ragnarok Online (Fenrir and Sarah servers) and Perfect World (Tiger Server). But I wasn’t able to level up my characters, kasi wala akong kakilala or friends who also play these games. Unlike in RF, I’ve lots!

LU: Since when were you into MMOs?

Chronycle: Since 2003, my first online game being RO. I’m also an open beta RF player. Masarap maging beta player, kasi you can follow the game right from the very first version up to the latest.

LU: You’re a real veteran, wouldn’t you say?

Chronycle: I guess, oo.

LU: What do you do for a living?

Chronycle: Internet café owner/freelance video editor. Editing is really my hobby and I’m really into it. I’m a self-taught editor… I surf the net for techniques and download PDF files of software programs I use, so I could learn more.

LU: Cool stuff. Any parting words to your audience and the LU! Community in general?

Chronycle: Sure. I’d like to impart that online gaming isn’t about rushing your character to PL to become strong. It’s more about how you could show your true self behind your character and, in the process, dumami ang kaibigan, matanda man o bata. Just like what Sir Willick said to the OverLords members: “Hayaan nating ipakita sa mga kabataan na hindi lang sila basta naglalaro ng online gaming. They could also learn good things from it, that they can use IRL.”
